之前我还蛮常到Tesco买Chapati的呢~ 一般都用来包沙拉吃。现在自己学起来了,以后就可以享受自己亲手制作的印度薄饼啦。

因为是第一次学做,犯了像上次弄肉干的错误:刚开始把饼弄得过薄了。后来发现需要有一定的厚度,吃起来才像面包,而不是那种饼干脆片的口感。所以最后几片下手轻了一些,也因此效果才算比较合格。

 

Chapati

Ingredients

  • 110 gm Atta Flour (Chapati Flour)
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • Lukewarm water, about half the flour, use as needed

Instructions

  • Mix flour, salt and oil.
  • Add little water time to time, knead for about 10 mins.
  • Cover the dough and set aside for 30 mins.
  • Knead again for about 5 mins.
  • Preheat HCP, use medium high heat.
  • Take about 1 lemon size of dough, make it round, coated with flour.
  • Sprinkle some flour on the surface and start roll it till flat.
  • Under medium high heat (ensure pan is really hot), flip it time to time to avoid get burnt.
